Lukas Roth (* 1965 in Regensburg ) is a German photographer .

life and work

Lukas Roth was born in Regensburg in 1965 and studied at the École Nationale Supérieure de la Photographie in Arles , France.

In 2004 Roth received the renowned Otto Steinert Prize from the German Society for Photography (DGPh).

Roth's concern is to photograph architecture as documentarily as possible. The focus of his artistic work is therefore also in the field of architectural photography.

He has been a freelance photographer in Cologne since 1991 .
