Lukas Schulz

Lukas Schulz (born April 27, 1981 in Tczew , Poland ) is a German cruiserweight boxer .

Career

Lukas Schulz learned boxing at Bahrenfelder SV from Hamburg . Between 2003 and 2008 he was runner-up in Hamburg, North Germany and Germany several times. In 2005 he was appointed to the German national team, but had to give his toughest competitor at the national level, Alexander Powernow, priority to the important international tournaments. His greatest success came with winning the German heavyweight championship in 2008 . After Jürgen Blin in 1964, he was the first Hamburg boxer to bring the title back to the Hanseatic city. His statistics as an amateur: 96 fights, 70 wins, 4 draws

In 2009 he played his first professional fight for Sauerland Event . In the 9th fight he lost to Serder Sahin and moved to the EC Boxing Promotion Hamburg.
