Lukas Viehberger (born April 14, 2000 in Golling an der Erlauf ) is an Austrian cyclist who competes in races on track and road .

Athletic career

In 2017 Lukas Viehberger was still a junior Austrian champion of the elite Keirin . In the junior class he won five national titles, in the 1000 meter time trial , in the single pursuit , in the points race , in the scratch and in the omnium . In January 2018 he set a new national junior record (4: 31.985 minutes) in the team pursuit at a track cycling competition in Apeldoorn with Valentin Götzinger , Tim Wafler and Paul Buschek . Later that year he became two-time Austrian junior champion in the time trial and in the single pursuit.

Since 2019 he starts for the team "Sport.Land Niederösterreich Selle SMP - St.Rich". In 2019 Viehberger became Austrian national champion in the 1000 meter time trial, sprint and Keirin he was each runner-up.

Lukas Viehberger's younger brother, Clemens , has also won several Austrian championship titles in various age groups.
