Luke Harry Chadwick (born November 18, 1980 in Cambridge ) is an English football player .
Career
society
Chadwick learned to play football at Manchester United Youth Academy . For the 1999/00 season he was supposed to join the professional squad of the Premier League team . However, the club officials decided on a loan deal with the young player. Chadwick should collect match practice with the Belgian first division representative Royal Antwerp . In the Red-Whites , the offensive player secured a regular place and was able to score seven goals in 36 games. The following year he returned to England. In addition to some appearances in the League Cup and against weaker first division teams, he was hardly able to convince in Alex Ferguson's team . In 2003 there was a second loan. This time Reading FC should be the new employer. After a total of 16 appearances, it should go back to the Red Devils , but there was a third swap and Manu transferred him to Burnley FC , in the Football League Championship . There Chadwick came back to regular missions and showed good performance. After only a year, the Burnley chapter was over again, but the time at Manchester United was also over.
West Ham United then signed the midfielder for two years. Although he made 32 league appearances in the first year, he did not often get beyond the role of supplementary player. So West Ham also decided to borrow and hid Chadwick from Stoke City . During the winter break of the 2005/06 season, the Potters signed him firmly. After good performances, he achieved high fan popularity. Even so, the offensive player was loaned out again in November and added to the Norwich City squad. In his first competitive game for the canaries , Chadwick scored a goal against archenemy Ipswich Town . In the same game he was injured and was out for half a year. Nevertheless, the club officials decided on a firm commitment and so it came about that he signed a two and a half year contract in January 2007. In March of the same year he finally made his debut, but could not recommend himself again for the starting lineup due to fitness differences. At the beginning of the season, Chadwick moved again on loan to third division promoted Milton Keynes Dons . On October 4, 2008 he made his debut for the Dons and moved to Football League One permanently at the beginning of 2009 .
National team
Chadwick was England's U-21 international . In 13 games, however, it was not enough to score.
