Lumeje (also Lumege , occasionally Cameia or Kameia ) is a city in eastern Angola . It is the capital of Cameia , a district in the province of Moxico .

Lumeje is on the Benguela Railway . On November 29, 2013, the last section to Luau was opened again after it had been idle for many years as a result of the Angolan civil war (1975-2002). Lumeje is now connected to the railway line again.
