Lunka (Ukrainian Лунка ; Slovak Lunka , Hungarian Lonka ) is a place in Khust Raion in Zakarpattia Oblast in western Ukraine .
The place originated in the 18th century in the valley of the brook Lunka and has about 750 inhabitants.
Until 1919 the place belonged to the Empire Austria-Hungary or Hungary , afterwards as part of the Carpathian-Ukraine to Czechoslovakia . With the annexation he came back to Hungary in 1939–1945, from 1945 the place is part of the Soviet Union and since 1991 part of the Ukraine. From an administrative point of view , it forms the district council of Kopaschnowo together with the villages of Kopaschnowo , Poljana and Chustez .
