Lupo is a German band from Cologne . The band mainly plays Kölsch rock and is active in the Cologne carnival .

history

The band was founded in February 2011 by the then students of the Liebfrauen-Gymnasium, Pedro skull, Alexander Lemke, Benni Landmann, Max Speidel and Andreas Wandscheer. In 2013, the former lead singer Yannick Weingartz joined the band. Among other things, you played for a number of years with the Cologne Schull- un Veedelszöch .

In the 2018 carnival session, Lupo played at the 49th session opening at Heumarkt, among other things . With the song För die Liebe nit they landed in first place in the Radio Köln Top Jeck vote. In June 2018 they signed a contract with the Cologne record label Pavement Records .

In 2020 they drove together with their band friends Miljö on a carriage for the Cologne Rose Monday procession .
