Miljö is a German band from Cologne . The five-piece band mainly plays Kölsch rock and is active in the Cologne carnival .

history

The band members, Sven Löllgen, Max Eumann, Mike Kremer, Nils Schreiber and Simon Rösler went to the same comprehensive school in the Holweide district . In 2012 they played together the most famous hits from the Cologne Carnival on the Veedelszoch in Dünnwalder . The first demo production was made at the end of 2012, and in June 2013 the band signed with the Cologne music label Rhingtön. At the end of 2013 the band released their first album MOMANG .

During the carnival session in 2014, Miljö played his own songs for the first time at the Cologne carnival, including at the session openings at Heumarkt and Tanzbrunnen . They also won the LOSS MER SINGE Newcomer Award. At the end of the year they released their second album Aapokalypse .

2016, the band made it to the Radio Cologne Top Jeck master tuning entitled Su long the Leechter still burn in the first place and was the Committee of Rosenmontagszugs invited on a cart to play. They also played at the season opening of 1. FC Köln and toured the region with Brings as the opening act.

In 2020 they drove together with their band friends Lupo on a car for the Cologne Rose Monday procession .
