Lutz-Rainer Senglaub

Lutz-Rainer Senglaub (born October 28, 1943 in Gera ) is a retired German educator and former local politician ( CDU ).

Life

pedagogy

He completed a degree in pedagogy and worked as a specialist teacher for biology, chemistry and astronomy until 1990. He was the deputy rector at the POS Arnstadt and received the honorary title of senior teacher in 1982 . In 1991 he wrote his dissertation at the Erfurt / Mühlhausen University of Education on the subject of the contribution of biology lessons in grade 9 to the creation of knowledge-based prerequisites for responsible behavior towards nature .

Local politics

At the 1st district party of the CDU Arnstadt in February 1990 he was elected chairman of the district association. In 1990 he was elected district administrator in the Arnstadt district and was elected district administrator in the Ilm district from 1994 to 2006 . In addition to his political work as a district administrator, he was President of the Regional Planning Association for Central Thuringia and Chairman of the Administration and Service Law Committee of the Thuringian District Assembly. He also worked as deputy chairman of the board of directors of the municipal community center for administrative management and member of the constitutional and European committee of the German district assembly . In 2006 he retired.

Volunteer work

Until 2011 Senglaub was chairman of the board of directors of the Arnstadt Marienstift . He was also a member of the board of the Association of German Nature Parks.

Awards

In 2008 he received the Federal Cross of Merit on ribbon .
