In their lyrics, the two rappers in the group get excited about their immediate surroundings, be it the Swiss hip-hop scene or their homeland Glarus, their narrow valleys and the famous cheese ( Schabziger ), often called “Zigerschlitz” because of their narrow valleys . There is just as much space for football as there is for the supposed friend alcohol. The beats, mainly from Swiss producers, are partly sample-heavy, partly synthetic and partly similar in their structure.

The EP And in general laid the foundation for the commercial success of the 2005 album Als Chänteds Bärgä Versetzä , which even reached number 15 on the Swiss album hit parade.

Bauer

Luut & Tüütli belongs to the Bauers collective, which unites various Swiss hip-hop artists such as the Kuchikäschtli , Breitbild , X-Chaibä (pronounced: Chrüzchäibe), Plan B, Vizioso, Lycon and the lost Bauer Gimma section . In the past there have been collaborations with other crew members on their albums or EPs. The crew call themselves Bauers to demonstrate their solidarity with their rural homeland.
