Lydia Cheah Li Ya (born September 8, 1989 in Kuala Lumpur , Malaysia ) is a Malaysian badminton player .

Career

Lydia Cheah Li Ya won silver in the women's individual competition at the Malaysian Championships in the 2006/2007 season. In 2008, she was able to advance to the quarter-finals of the World Cup with the women's team from her home country . In 2009 she finished third at the Southeast Asian Games . A year later she won the Commonwealth Games with the Malaysian team .
