biography

Lyzanxia was founded in 1996 by the Potvin brothers. Shortly afterwards, the first demo , RIP My Skin , appeared, which showed the band's musical potential. In 1997 the band produced another demo tape with 11 tracks, Lullaby , which established contact with the press and the underground scene . The band subsequently played with Edge of Sanity , Disfear , Loudblast and No Return .

For their first album Eden they were able to win producer Fredrik Nordström . The album was released in 2000 and received good reviews. Two videos for Bewitched and Dream Feeder have been released.

In 2002 Lyzanxia recorded their second album Mindcrimes . The band worked with Nordström again and the Potvin brothers traveled to Gothenburg , Sweden to mix the pieces and master the album with Giran Finnberg. They also produced the videos Silence Code and Medulla Need . A tour with Shaman and Behemoth followed.

In 2006 Lyzanxia got a contract with Listenable Records . The third studio album Unsu was recorded and released under this label . Here, too, the band worked with Nordström, who mixed the album, and went on tour with Exit Ten and Soilwork .

In 2010 the band delivered their fifth studio album Locust . The musical style is still closely based on the rules of Thrash Metal. The album was mastered by the Swedish producer Björn Engelmann and was released under XIII BIS Records.
