The m & i specialist clinic Bad Liebenstein is a specialist clinic for rehabilitation based in Bad Liebenstein , Thuringia . The services include neurological early rehabilitation after phase B, advanced neurorehabilitation (phases C and D) as well as rehabilitation in orthopedics , trauma surgery , cardiology and internal medicine . The clinic belongs to the m & i clinic group Enzensberg .

history

In 1993, the hospital was put into operation at eight locations in the former Bad Liebenstein spa . Just two months later, the clinic moved from all eight houses in the newly built clinic construction at its present location, then with the departments of cardiology and orthopedics. In 1997, the neurology department expanded the range of indications at the clinic, as did a cooperation agreement with the Friedrich Schiller University of Jena and approval to carry out day-care rehabilitation. Approval for the treatment of neurological patients in phase B (early rehabilitation) was only granted in 2001, and the acute medical ward with 31 beds was opened.

In 2003 it was approved to provide outpatient services as a practice for physiotherapy , occupational therapy and speech therapy , and in 2005 the clinic celebrated its 10th anniversary. In 2009 the clinic received a 5-star rating for service quality from TOP Services . In 2010 it became a partner clinic of the Accident Clinic in Frankfurt am Main for the aftercare of accident patients. Another new building for early rehabilitation phase B was opened in 2011, and certification by Q-Reha took place in the same year . The clinic celebrated its 20th anniversary in 2015. In 2017, the hospital was accepted as a plan hospital in the 7th Thuringian hospital plan, initially only with neurological early rehabilitation. This ward was expanded in 2018 by a ward for patients requiring ventilation.
