Men of the Mountains is a pop - rock band from South Tyrol . She was under contract with the Rookies & Kings label .
Band history
Since the age of 9, singer Andy Jaiter has mainly played so-called Oberkrainer music , i.e. Slavic folk music in the style of Slavko Avsenik , but opened up to hit songs. Men of the Mountains was finally founded in 2014 in South Tyrol. They mix folk music , hits and rock and call their style Schlag'n'Roll.
The band was signed by Rookies & Kings in 2015 and released their debut album Through a thousand fires on September 4, 2015 on the label. The band appeared in the opening act for Frei.Wild as well as at the Alpen Flair 2014 to 2016. Andy Jaiter also took part in the Wilde Flamme charity project .
The band then switched to the Hera record company , where their second album Heimatatem - Schlag'n Roll from South Tyrol was released on January 26, 2018 .
