Wilde Flamme is a musical benefit project that started in 2012.

Career

The project was initiated by the members of the band Frei.Wild in order to support the South Tyrolean children's village in their hometown of Brixen with the proceeds from the song sales . Musicians as diverse as Matthias Röhr from the Böhsen Onkelz, Norbert Rier from the Kastelruther Spatzen, Neo Scope from Down Below , Patrick Prziwara from Fiddler's Green and Delroy Rennalls from Mr. President took part in the recording . The single was released on June 8, 2012 and reached number 58 in Germany. In September Frei.Wild singer Philipp Burger handed over 4,000 euros to the children's village.

On June 21, 2013, the project's second song Stories Remain Stories was released. In addition to many artists from the first recording, this time, among others, Joggl from Unantastbar , Georg Kirchler from the Bad Jokers and Martin Kesici took part .

In 2014 the income from the charity project went to an individual for the first time. The street vendor Thiam Matoure was able to realize his dream by being able to return to his home in Senegal to live with his family and to rebuild his collapsed house. Through all the tides was released on June 13, 2014 and this time too numerous artists were involved in this single. Peter Maffay also supported the project.

After Magdalena Gąsiorowicz and Marcus Hammer met on the project, they recorded a new version of the piece Sunset together in 2014 with reference to Wilde Flamme , which Hammer originally wrote with his Berlin band ENORM for the album Zur Hölle und zurück . All of the proceeds from the downloads went to Myriam von M and her unusual “Fuck Cancer” campaign against cervical cancer.
