Märxle is a district of the Upper Swabian community Oberschönegg in the Unterallgäu district in Bavaria .
geography
Märxle is about three kilometers east of the main town Oberschönegg. The town is connected to the main town by the MN 8 county road . The Märxlewald is located between Dietershofen and Märxle.
history
The hamlet used to be called Fröhlichs. Around 1700 a chapel was built in the municipality, in which there is a mounted crucifix . This was a foundation of the farmer Joseph Schwehr from 1885 (inscription above the entrance door).
