Mós (also Mós do Douro ) is a town and former municipality in northern Portugal .

Mós was the seat of an independent municipality ( freguesia ) in the district ( concelho ) of Vila Nova de Foz Côa . 190 inhabitants live in the former municipal area (as of June 30, 2011).

As part of the administrative reorganization in Portugal , the municipality of Mós was dissolved on September 29, 2013 and, together with the municipality of Santo Amaro, became part of the municipality of Vila Nova de Foz Côa .
