Mönninghausen is a residential area of Sperenberg , a district of the municipality Am Mellensee in the Teltow-Fläming district in Brandenburg .

Geographical location

The living space is located in the southern part of the district of Sperenberg. To the northeast is the further residential area Fernneuendorf , to the southwest the further district of Kummersdorf-Alexanderdorf . To the north is the Neuendorfer See , southwest of the Mönnigsee .

history

Mönnighausen was mentioned in a document in 1858 as an establishment on the Mönchsee . At that time, 14 people lived in the residential area. In 1860 it consisted of a residential and two farm buildings. By 1925 the number of people had dropped to five. In 1932 it belonged to the Sperenberg community and was living there in 1957.

Mönninghausen came to the municipality of Am Mellensee on February 1, 2002 as part of the incorporation of Sperenberg.
