Mühlbach im Bruch is a part of the local community Bruchmühlbach-Miesau in the Kaiserslautern district in Rhineland-Palatinate .

Mühlbach im Bruch is located in the southeast of the municipality. It is located about one kilometer from the river on the right edge of the upper Glantal and extends in the northeast to the foot of the more than hundred meter high, wooded Schulberg, while in the southwest the Frohnbach was once the border to Bruchmühlbach , with which it has grown structurally today. history

Until 1798 Mühlbach in Bruch belonged to the Landstuhl rule of the Sickinger family . From 1798 to 1814, when the Palatinate was part of the French Republic and then part of the Napoleonic Empire until 1804 , Mühlbach was subordinate to the Mairie Bruchmühlbach in the Bruch and was part of the canton of Landstuhl . In 1815, 140 people lived in the village. Then the place came to the Kingdom of Bavaria . From 1818 to 1862 he was a member of the Homburg Land Commissioner ; from this the district office of Homburg emerged. Since part of the district office - including Homburg itself - was added to the newly created Saar area in 1920 , the place moved to the newly created district office of Landstuhl .
