At 97.9 m, the Mühlenberg is the second highest elevation in the city of Münster in the Westphalian Münsterland . It is part of the Nienberger Heights , which represent the approximately 4 km long southeast of the Altenberger Ridge in the Münster area and correspond to today's nature reserve Vorbergs Hügel .
Its exact location is in the north-west of the city, north-west of Nienberge and south-west of Häger , directly on the north-west border between Münster and Altenberge . Its south-eastern neighboring summit is the 99.4 m high foothill hill .
