Foothills

The Vorbergshügel is the highest ( 99.4  m above sea  level ) and at the same time most famous hill of the Nienberger Heights , which occupy the approximately 4 km long southeast of the Altenberger Ridge in the Münster district of Nienberge and northwest of it. The partial range of hills has its second highest point in the immediately northwestern neighboring Mühlenberg ( 97.9  m above sea level ).

The Vorbergs Hügel nature reserve named after the hill has been designated since 1994, and its extent corresponds roughly to the Nienberger heights.
