Mārtiņš Sirmais (born July 15, 1982 ) is a Latvian orienteer . In 2006 and 2008 he was vice European champion in the middle distance.

Sirmais had his first international championships in 2001 in Tampere and in 2002 in Sümeg. At the 2006 World Championships he came in sixth place in the sprint and thus for the first time in an international championship in the top ten. He celebrated his greatest successes so far at the European Championships in 2006 and 2008 in Estonia and in his home country Latvia. In Otepää in 2006 he was second in the middle distance behind the French Thierry Gueorgiou . In 2008 he finished second in the same discipline, again behind Gueorgiou.

In international races he runs for the Finnish club Turun Metsänkävijät from Turku . His Latvian club is the IK Auseklis .
