Mūza Rubackytė
Mūza Rubackytė (born May 19, 1959 in Kaunas ) is a Lithuanian pianist and music teacher .
Life
Mūza Rubackytė's great-grandmother, mother and aunt were pianists, while his grandfather was an orchestra conductor and mathematician. Her father was an opera singer. Rubackytė grew up in Žaliakalnis . From 1965 to 1973 she studied at the Čiurlionis Art School in Vilnius . From 1973 to 1976 she studied at the LSSR conservatorija (with Jurgis Karnavičius ). In 1978 she graduated from the Moscow Conservatory with Jakow Wladimirowitsch Flier and from 1978 to 1981 an assistant professor with M. Voskresenski. Since 1978 she has been teaching at the LSSR conservatorija. Since 1989 she has been a professor at the Conservatoire Rachmaninoff in Paris and since 2003 at the Music and Theater Academy of Lithuania .
