m2 (originally MTV2 ) is a television broadcaster of the Hungarian public broadcaster Magyar Televízió . The program mainly consists of cultural programs and children's programs. After the end at 8:30 pm, the station title will be changed to “Petöfi TV”.
The station is broadcast in Budapest via DVB-T and can be received unencrypted via the Eurobird 9A satellite . It is also available via the Astra 1KR and Intelsat 10-02 satellites in the pay-TV packages from UPC Direct and RCS DigiTV. The audience ratings for the cultural program are currently 2.4 percent of the market.
