MABDA is the official abbreviation for Arabic المركز الملكي للبحوث والدراسات الإسلامية, DMG al-Markaz al-Malaki li-l-Buḥūṯ wa-d-Dirasat al-Islamiya  , Royal Center for Research and Islamic Studies', English The Royal Islamic Strategic Studies Center / RISSC (see Royal Aal al-Bayt Institute for Islamic Thought ). The leading force behind the center, which was founded in 2007, is the Jordanian Prince Ghazi bin Muhammad , a cousin of the Jordanian King Abdullah II.

Often known as the Royal Islamic Strategic Studies Center, the center is known as the Royal Aal al-Bayt Institute for Islamic Thought or the Royal Aal al-Bayt Institute for Islamic Thought (RABIIT, Arabic مؤسسة آل البيت للفكر الإسلامي, DMG Muʾassasat Āl al-Bait li-l-Fikr al-Islāmī ), an international Islamic institute or think tank headquartered in Amman , the capital of the Kingdom of Jordan .

Since 2009, it has published an annual list of the "500 most influential Muslims" in the world in cooperation with the Prince al-Walid-bin-Talal Center for Muslim-Christian Understanding .

His publication series MABDA English Monograph Series , which has appeared since 2008, contains important documents on Islamic interreligious dialogue and Muslim-Christian dialogue ( message from Amman , A common word between us and you ).
