The Blausiegel brand was introduced to the German market in 1934 by the rubber goods factory Richter, Buyer & Co. In 1946, the Blausiegel company owners Emil Richter and Buyer in Erfurt were expropriated by the Soviet occupying power, so that three years later the Blausiegel, Richter, Buyer & Co. GmbH company was re-established with headquarters in Bielefeld. In 1952, Blausiegel participated in the founding of the Rimbacher Gummiwarenfabrik in Rimbach in the Odenwald . Just four years after this establishment, the Rimbacher Gummiwarenfabrik terminated the contract with Blausiegel amicably due to a conflict of interests.

In 1956, Rubion GmbH was founded as a planned production facility for condoms in Hanover . In addition to Ritex Gummi, Bielefeld, Blausiegel, Richter, Buyer & Co., Hanover, also became a partner in Rubion GmbH.

The negotiations between MAPA SA Manufacture Francaise de Latex, the companies Blausiegel, Richter ,kauf & Co., Hanover, and the Hanseatische Gummiwarenfabrik, Bremen, which have been conducted since 1963, led to a two-year merger of the new Fromms-Blausiegel Gummiwarenfabrik, Hanover, in 1967 is later renamed MAPA rubber and plastic works. The seat of this company is in Zeven. The company Gummiwerk Erfurt , Neustadt Rübenberge, is also taken over as the licensor for the word mark Blausiegel.

The condoms of the company "OLLA" Gummiwaren , founded in Vienna in 1898 , were synonymous in Austria as a product name for condoms. In 1979 the rights to this brand name were taken over by Blausiegel GmbH, but later no longer used. The Blausiegel condoms are now being sold by the Salzburg company Blautex .

This orthodontic teat was based on the developments and experiences of the dentist Dr. med. dent. Müller and the orthodontist Prof. Dr. Dr. Balters. Today NUK not only manufactures the teats with the typical asymmetrical shape, but also other products for babies.
