history
The company was founded in 1970 in Haiterbach near Nagold by Gerhard Dingler. Shortly thereafter, Dingler developed a crane-independent element formwork and presented it to the public for the first time in 1971 at Bauma . Another innovation was the assembly lock patented in 1977 . In 1982, the Mammut industrial formwork with a maximum concrete pressure of 97 kN / m² was introduced.
Ten years later, MEVA developed the MevaDec slab formwork system that covers all three slab formwork methods in one system and can be used with both loose and integrated formwork. In 2000, the company was the first formwork manufacturer to equip its formwork with all- plastic panels from Alkus .
In October 2013, Florian F. Dingler took over the company management as managing partner. In 2015, Sales Manager Rolf Spahr was voted one of the most influential people in the industry by Concrete Construction Magazine. Together with the American Concrete Institute, he wrote new guidelines for the handling of exposed concrete, which were published in 2014.
