history

ME was formed in Melbourne in 2008 from Luke Ferris (vocals, piano and guitar), Joshua Murphy (guitar, vocals), Michael Godde (bass) and Spike Rogers (drums). In 2010 she was signed to indie record label Lizard King Records and moved to England to record her debut album.

After supporting Twin Atlantic , King Charles , Evanescence , Kasabian and Panic! at the Disco , the band released their debut mini-album Another Story High in 2012, followed by their debut album Even the Odd Ones Out in 2013. Both releases were recorded by Simon "Barny" Barnicott.

Originally the name "[Me]" was written, but it was decided to remove the brackets and since then the band name has been written "ME". The band calls themselves "The Ungoogleables". In 2015 the band broke up and re-formed into the band Furious Few without a bass .

style

The band has numerous different influences such as Led Zeppelin , Queen , The Mars Volta , Muse , Radiohead , The Beatles , Rachmaninoff , Philip Glass and the American composer Danny Elfman . The band is also influenced by theatrical performances and their live shows often feature additional musicians, such as drummers, violinists, choirs, orchestras, dancers and other guest artists.
