MPSE Career Achievement Award
The MPSE Career Achievement Award (until 1998: MPSE Lifetime Achievement Award ) has been presented by the Motion Picture Sound Editors since 1985 on the occasion of the annual Golden Reel Awards for the life's work of a sound engineer . Usually the Sound Editor or Sound Designer is recognized with the award; in 2013 a contemporary foley artist was awarded for the first time.
