George Watters II

George Watters II (born September 19, 1949 in Los Angeles , California ) is an American sound engineer who won the Oscar twice for best sound effects .

Life

In 1973 Watters began his career at Paramount Pictures , where he first worked on television shows before moving to films. In 1978 he first worked as a supervising sound editor in the film American Hot Wax . In 1992 he left Paramount and subsequently worked at Universal Studios , Warner Brothers , 20th Century Fox and Walt Disney Studios .

He mainly works with producer Jerry Bruckheimer .

Watters is married and has two daughters.
