MP Mikroprocessortechnik ( magazine for microelectronics • computer technology • informatics ) was a computer magazine about microprocessor technology . It appeared monthly in the GDR from 1987 to August 1992. The price was 5  marks . The publisher was the Chamber of Technology (KDT), Electrical Engineering Association; The magazine was published by VEB Verlag Technik or, after the fall of the Wall, by Verlag Technik GmbH.

The magazine dealt with all areas of computer technology. This included hardware presentations, software courses, many programming examples, tips and tricks. Some of the program examples were printed in mini-font with several pages.

After the fall of the Wall , microprocessor technology reprinted articles from the West German specialist magazines c't (from MP 3/1990) and Computer Personal (from MP 5/1990) on the basis of cooperation agreements .
