The MS Industrie AG is a German investment company based in Munich . The company's core business is participation in industrial companies with the business fields of drive technology and ultrasound technology. The company's share is traded in the General Standard and is included in the CDAX .

history

The company's roots go back to GCI - Gesellschaft für Consulting & Implementation , which was founded in 1991 as a management consultancy . On October 4th, 2000, today's company was founded as GCI Management AG . On May 29, 2001, the company went public on the regulated market of the Frankfurt Stock Exchange . The company's purpose was to participate in restructuring cases in order to achieve a turnaround there. After three bankruptcies in the portfolio and high losses, the company was restructured. The focus switched to majority stakes in industrial and real estate companies. In September 2010, after the reorganization as a holding company, it was renamed GCI Industrie AG . In July 2012, the name was again changed to MS Industrie AG to allow the core areas M otoren- and S chweißtechnik emphasized. The company name thus also follows the most important subsidiary Maschinenfabrik Spaichingen.
