The MTC XMQ-17A SpyHawk was a project for an ultra-light reconnaissance drone . From 2006 the SpyHawk was developed by MTC Technologies and should be used at the USMC . With infrared cameras and laser target finders, the drone was supposed to support ground troops in the tactical battlefield reconnaissance. After the prototype's first flight failed in mid-2007, the program was discontinued at the end of the same year.
