Pärtna made her debut in magazines and published her first volume of poetry in 2010. “Stylish purity” and “thoughtfulness” were already attested to her debut, and later collections were also called “extremely mature” and “characterized by the ability to look beyond one's own navel”. In her poetry, which is increasingly approaching prose , clear influences of the American poet William Carlos Williams , whom she also translated, can be felt.

Her political commitment is also emphasized, which is expressed, for example, in the thematization of the current climate catastrophe , to which the title of her poetry book published in 2019 ( Vivarium ) ultimately also refers. A critic who wrote his review in the spring of 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic suggested reading this book of poems "as Albert Camus ' ... The Stranger of Our Time."
