Mabel Landry
Mabel Landry ( Mabel Marie "Dolly" Landry, married Staton; born November 20, 1932 in Chicago ) is a former American long jumper and sprinter .
At the Olympic Games in Helsinki in 1952 , she was seventh, where she set up her personal best in the preliminary round with 5.88 m. In 1955 she won bronze over 60 m and gold with the US quartet in the 4-by-100-meter relay at the Pan American Games in Mexico City . She was five times US champion in the long jump (1949, 1950, 1952-1954) and twice over 50 m (1953, 1954).
