Maciej Śledziecki (* 1977 in Gdansk , Poland ) is a Polish-German composer , guitarist and experimental musician.

biography

Maciej Śledziecki studied guitar with Anton Goudsmit in the Netherlands and later composition with Siegfried Koepf at the Cologne University of Music and Dance . He programs computer-aided composition processes and researches advanced playing techniques of the guitar. He also played with musicians such as Joris Rühl and Axel Lindner , among others . Since he made his debut as a film composer for feature films with the drama Solo in 2004 , he has composed the music for The Visitor and The Dragonfly and the Rhinoceros, among others . In 2011 he and his partner Marion Wörle founded Gamut Inc , an ensemble with mechanical, computer-controlled instruments for electroacoustic music. He composed the music for the sound installation "Aggregate Sustain", which was performed in the Chapel of Reconciliation .

He lives in Berlin and Cologne.
