Maciej Polejowski created wood carvings and stone sculptures, especially for churches in Lviv and Sandomirer Land. His style is influenced by the sculptors Johann Georg Brush and Antoni Osoliński , he also worked with the architect Bernhard Meretyn . Maciej Polejowski is considered one of the most important Rococo sculptors in Poland-Lithuania.
