The Madara Peak (English; Bulgarian връх Мадара wrach Madara ) is a 430 m high mountain on Livingston Island in the archipelago of the South Shetland Islands . In the Vidin Heights it rises 1.3 km northeast of Samuel Peak , 2.6 km east of Miziya Peak and 2.5 km southwest of Sharp Peak .
Bulgarian scientists mapped it when surveying the Tangra Mountains between 2004 and 2005. The Bulgarian Commission for Antarctic Geographical Names named it in 2005 after the village of Madara in northeastern Bulgaria, known from the Madara rider .
