Maddison Coates (born September 27, 1997 in Bundoora ) is an Australian sprinter .

Athletic career

Maddie Coates competed in her first international championship at the 2014 Junior World Championships in Eugene , where she was eliminated in the semifinals of the 200-meter run with 23.91 s . Two years later she reached the semi-finals again at the U20 World Championships in Bydgoszcz , where she was eliminated with 23.96 s. In addition, she reached seventh place in the Australian 4 x 100 meter relay in 45.15 s. In 2018 she took part in the Commonwealth Games in her native Gold Coast for the first time and was eliminated there with 23.43 s in the semifinals and was disqualified with the relay in the final.
