Mads Reginiussen (born January 2, 1988 in Alta ) is a Norwegian football player who is currently under contract in the Eliteserien , the highest Norwegian league, playing club Ranheim IL .

Career

Reginiussen began playing football in his hometown in 2002 at Alta IF , for which his older brother also played goals . He made his debut for the club as a young player, who had previously played in the Norwegian U-15 and U-16 national teams, in the fall of 2005 in the Adeccoligaen , but rose with the team at the end of the season in the third-class 2nd division . Meanwhile advanced to a regular player, he returned with the club for the 2008 season in the second division. In 29 games he scored seven goals there, which earned him attention in the higher class area. In September 2008 he finally signed a four-year contract valid from January 2009 with Tromsø IL in the Tippeligaen .

For the club from Northern Norway, where his brother was also active, Reginiussen was mainly used as a substitute. In the 2009 season he made six first division appearances and eleven games in the following season. In early 2011, he was therefore associated with some Norwegian clubs and took part in February as a test player at the training camp of Ranheim Fotball . In March, the two clubs finally agreed on a loan deal until the end of the season. In the second division he was a regular player and scored six goals this season. After his contract was not renewed after returning to Tromsø, Ranheim signed him on March 1, 2012.
