Magic Bike Rüdesheim is a motorcycle meeting that has been taking place since 2002. The organizer is Buddies and Bikes eV , the patronage is the former Minister of Finance of the State of Hesse , Karlheinz Weimar .
history
The event took place for the first time in 2002 under the title “Open to Harley-Davidson and other fine bikes”. In the first year the meeting counted about 6000 visitors. Since this event, the "Buddies and Bikes eV" association has 8 members. To mark the 100th anniversary of the Harley-Davidson brand, the second event in 2003, which attracted around 8,000 visitors to Rüdesheim am Rhein , had the motto "A Party for a Century of Magic". In 2004 there were more than 10,000 visitors for the first time. As a partner, SWR3 organized a DanceNight with Uwe Groke. In 2005 the event was expanded to include the Magic Bike Classics, which is a platform for historic motorcycles. In 2007 the event was renamed from Magic Bike Rally to Magic Bike Rüdesheim due to trademark and patent rights. Today the Buddies and Bikes eV association holds the rights to both brands. In 2008 the event had 25,000 participants, in 2009 there were more than 30,000. On the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the event, a Harley-Davidson special edition was raffled and a road book was published with tours in the region that motorcyclists had worked out for motorcyclists. These tours are permanently available on the homepage of the Harley-Davidson-Club Rüdesheim.

The event occupies the western part of Rüdesheim am Rhein from the Brömserburg. The event site includes Burgstrasse and Oberstrasse, as well as the area around the Rüdesheim train station .
