Mahdi Fleifel
Mahdi Fleifel (* 1979 in Dubai ) is a Danish - Palestinian director .
Life
Fleifel grew up in the refugee camp Ain el-Helweh in Lebanon and later in a suburb of Helsingør in Denmark. He studied at the National Film and Television School in Beaconsfield near London , where he graduated in 2009.
His short film Arafat & I and his documentary A World Not Ours have received numerous awards. A World Not Ours was awarded the Berlinale Peace Film Prize in 2013 .
