Mahmoud Mosharraf Azad Tehrani
Mahmoud Mosharraf (Moshref) Azad Tehrani ( December 9, 1934 in Tehran ; † January 19, 2006 , ibid; author name M. Azad ( م. آزاد)) was a contemporary Iranian poet.

Poetry collections
Azad has published four volumes of poetry collections:
- Diar-e Shab (The Land of Night)
- Aaineh ha Tohist (The mirrors are empty)
- Ghasideh-ye Boland-e Baad (The Long Ode of the Wind)
- Ba Man Toloo Kon (rise with me).
In 2000 he published another collection, with mostly already published but also partly new poems, Gole Baaghe Aashnaai .

In addition to the volumes of poetry, he wrote around 50 books for young people. Including:

- The tree of life , a collection of Rumi poems, rewritten in pure Persian for young Iranians
- Afsaneh-ye Shahan va Pahlevanan , (The Myth of Kings and Heroes).
Many of his poems are used in school books in Iran.
