Maik Stefan Taylor (born September 4, 1971 in Hildesheim , Germany ) is a former Northern Irish football player . The goalkeeper was most recently under contract with Millwall FC .

Career

The German-born Northern Irish goalkeeper began his career at Farnborough FC . Taylor's mother is German. In 1995 he moved to FC Barnet . His next club was Southampton FC . After these three short guest appearances, he came to Fulham in 1997 , where he stayed until 2003. From 2004 to 2011 he played for Birmingham City .

Between 1999 and 2011 Maik Taylor played 88 international matches for the Northern Irish national team .
