Makarius Falter
Macarius Franz de Paula Falter (born January 2, 1762 in Taiskirchen , † September 24, 1843 in Munich ) was a piano teacher and music publisher who founded the Falterische Musikhandlung in Munich.
Falter initially worked as a piano teacher in Munich. From 1788 he was also a music dealer. In 1796 he founded the music publishing house Falter, which he ran from 1813 together with his son Joseph Falter. The publisher published works by Carl Maria von Weber , among others . Sebastian Pacher took over Falter's company in 1827.
