The river cruise ships of the Maksim Gorkiy class ( Russian Максим Горький , German transcription: Maxim Gorki), which was also known as Project Q-040 , are river and canal-going inland passenger motor ships of large construction. The class is named after the first ship in the class, which bears the name of the Russian writer Maxim Gorky .
history
The river cruise line was established in 1974. The Austrian shipyards AG in Korneuburg ( Austria ) built ships of your own design. The naming was limited to two important writers. The ships were deployed on the Volga .
technology
In the 1990s, the ships were modernized and rebuilt for new conditions. Since the ships also had targets in the north-western lakes of Russia, these ships were also equipped with GPS and modern radar systems. The ships have a diesel drive with two main engines 6ChRN 36/45 G-60.
Furnishing
All comfortable 1-, 2- and 3-bed cabins are equipped with air conditioning, refrigerator, shower and toilet, 220 V connection and have large windows.
On board are u. a. a restaurant, two bars, a kiosk, a conference room, music and television salon, a telephone for international connections, solarium, sauna, swimming pool and fitness room.
