Maxim Schalmaghambetow (born July 11, 1983 in Zelinograd ) is a former Kazakh football player .

Career

His professional career began in 2002 with his home club FK Astana . After a weak year, he moved to Ekibastusez Ekibastus in late 2002 . Here, too, he only made two appearances, so in July of the same year he moved to Shastar Astana , in the second Kazakh league. Here he could not play his whole class and was brought back from his home club anyway. In 66 games he scored 11 goals for FK Astana. In 2008 he moved to the Belgian second division club Royal Antwerp , but there he was only used once and returned to Astana in June 2008. In 2009 he moved to Schetissu Taldyqorghan . In January 2010 he signed a contract with Irtysh Pavlodar . After stints at Lokomotiv Astana , Ordabassy Shymkent and FK Atyrau in the Kazakh first class, he joined his former club FK Astana-64 in 2013, which was already represented in the second highest Kazakh league. After taking a break for a year from 2014, he hired again for a few assignments at the Kazakh second division club Qyzyljar Petropawl, where he announced his retirement in 2015, shortly after his 32nd birthday.
