Maksym Adam Copy OFM (born August 4, 1971 in Cieszyn ) is a Polish theologian .

Life

He entered the novitiate of the Franciscans on September 1, 1990, made his first profession on August 25, 1991, made perpetual profession on February 3, 1996 and was ordained a priest on April 29, 1997. After his graduation from the Papal Theological Academy in Cracow and Opole University , he received his licentiate in fundamental theology on October 6, 2001 at the Pontifical Gregorian University , where he received his doctorate on January 27, 2005 . From October 1, 2008 to January 14, 2009, he completed a research project at the University of Oxford . As a visiting professor at the Pontifical University of Antonianum , he was appointed professor aggiunto in the field of the chair of theology on May 31, 2008 . On October 24, 2011, he was appointed Vice President of the Higher Institute for Religious Studies. On December 6, 2011, he was appointed deputy editor of the Antonianum magazine , of which he was already secretary.
