Mala Zarkwa ( Bulgarian Мала църква ; in German Small Church ) is a village with 467 inhabitants in the municipality of Samokow in the Sofia region . Until 1887 the village was called Srabsko Selo (Сръбско село), which translated means Serbian village . Mala Zarkwa is located about ten kilometers south of the administrative center of the municipality in Samokow. The village is at an altitude of about 1195 meters above sea level. The main sources of income for Mala Carkwa are forestry and agriculture.
