Malagueña salerosa
Malagueña salerosa , sometimes referred to as La Malagueña , is a popular Mexican ranchera- style song written in 1947 in collaboration with Pedro Galindo Galarza (1906–1989) and Elpidio Ramírez Burgos (1882–1960) and composed by the latter.
Versions
The song has been recorded by a wide variety of Mexican and international artists; for example by Avenged Sevenfold , Caterina Valente , Plácido Domingo and Vicente Fernández .
The song was also often part of films; for example in the version of the Mexican band Chingon in Kill Bill - Volume 2 and by Antonio Banderas in Sometime in Mexico as well as in older Mexican films, among others by Antonio Aguilar .
Trivia
The song was originally planned for the Elvis Presley film Acapulco , but was then replaced by Guadalajara - presumably due to legal problems .
